3.       How do I renew my membership?

Your membership is good for 12 months from the date you joined. You will receive a reminder before the renewal date. If you need assistance renewing your membership, please email customersupport@namw.org.

4.       Can I cancel my membership?

You are a member until your renewal date. Because of all the generous downloads and benefits that come with your membership, there are no refunds should you change your mind after you register. A week before your membership is due for renewal, you will receive a reminder. We always add new and interesting teleseminars and benefits each year to help you achieve your writing goals.

5.       How do I sign up for the newsletter?

Members are automatically entitled to receive the NAMW newsletter. For non-members who would like to receive the newsletter, please visit our homepage and look for the sign-up link on the right side of the page. Please note that free tip sheets are provided when you sign up for the newsletter.

6.       What is a Member Teleseminar? How do I join one?

Teleseminars are inspirational and instructive courses that you participate in from the comfort of your home. Member Teleseminars are open to NAMW members only. They are designed to help you begin, develop, and complete your memoir, learn about the publishing process, and inspire you to write. All teleseminars presented at NAMW are facilitated by experts in the field of memoir writing, journaling, publishing, and marketing.

To join a teleseminar, you need to phone in using the phone number provided in the member section of the website. When you become a member, you receive a log in and password that allows you to access the content and member details for members.

If you are not able to join live, audio downloads of the member teleseminar for that month will be available on the download section of the membership site.

7. What is a Virtual Book Club?

Virtual Book Clubs are provided free to everyone, and when you  sign up to get the phone number for the call, you’ll also receive the audio of the Virtual Book Club the following week. Details are provided on the Virtual Book Club page for that month.

8.       Workshop Cancellations

After you enroll in a paid workshop, your fee is your commitment to attend. If you cancel up to 24 hours before the workshop starts, you will receive a refund less a 25% cancellation fee.

There are no cancellations or refunds after 24 hours before the workshop starts.
