As if writing, rewriting, editing, writing a book proposal, querying agents and pitching publishers wasn’t enough, now you’ve got to be an expert in social media? If you’re feeling overwhelmed, you’re not alone. I’m an author who happens to have a day job as a social media director. It’s my job to make social media accessible, easy and fun.
You wouldn’t sit down to play a game of chess without knowing the rules, right? The same goes for social media, but the good news is that these rules are very simple. Here are just a few of the questions I’ll be addressing in our conversation:
- How many social media platforms do I really need?
- How do I find my ideal followers?
- How many friends or followers should I have?
- What should I post?
- The Golden Rules of Social Media
