During this part of the Telesummit, we will explore the big four social media networks right now – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest – and provide writers with new tools to expand their online presence. In this workshop, you will learn about what the networks do and are, and how to economize your time to get more out of the networks you decide to use.
The session will cover:
- Facebook: We will discuss tabs, lists, insights, and the best tips to generate fan engagement.
- Twitter: The speaker will share information on which apps every writer should use and discuss best practices.
- Pinterest: You will learn why writers should use this social media network to promote their books and blogs as well as their colleagues’ books.
- LinkedIn: We will discuss improving your profile, the importance of groups and recommendations, and best practices.
Bio: Frances Caballo is a social media marketer, trainer and strategist with more than 23 years of communications experience. She specializes in social media training for beginners, intermediate and advanced users, manages social media marketing accounts for clients, and trains advanced users on how to succeed in social media marketing. Her book, Social Media Just for Writers: The Best Online Marketing Tips for Selling Your Books, will be released in October.
