Kay Adams

Join NAMW as Kay Talks About Writing Creative Nonfiction and Memoir–A Journey to the Self

Writers of creative nonfiction and memoir find out that writing your story becomes a journey inward, to the dark and quiet soul that nurtures our outward lives. It’s a journey of discovery, a way to learn about who we are, where we are going, and about the secrets recesses of the heart. Kay Adams has been leading people on these journeys for many years, and is a heroine of her own journey, having taken the long path herself to self growth and self awareness. Kay is a marvel of creativity, and has nurtured her creative self through the years. She will speak to us about the important and powerful process of writing to bring us to wakefulness, and to the full potential of who we are.
Join us as we welcome Kay to the NAMW Spring 2011 Day-long Memoir Writing Workshop as we discuss Creative Nonfiction & Memoir:  Craft, Ethics and Process.
