It’s the time of the year when we are bathed in light, when the soft breezes relax us and allow our creative minds to flow into dream and image and memory. Allow yourself to relax and enjoy the warmth and relaxation, knowing that you are engaged in a creative process even if you are not writing. Everyone needs time to gently feed their creativity, to sink into the dream self to find out what you want to say.
Writing means drawing upon imagination and memory. Anything we can do to stimulate our image-making self offers layers of inspiration from which we may draw our stories, the poetry of our lives. Take time to listen to the tendrils of thought that arise from you, the wisps of memory, the music of your soul.
Pick up your pen and write.
